14-18 years
Get out, take the lead, make it yours. Explorer Scouts are a go-getting group of young people aged 14 to 18 who come together to try new things, lead their own activities, go on adventures and make a difference in their communities.
Week in and week out, Explorers meet in Units across the local area to:
-
Plan and shape their own programme of activities
-
Develop new skills and build confidence
-
Make new friends and take on challenges
-
Take part in camps, expeditions and exciting experiences at home and abroad

To access your Online Scout Manager (OSM) account, you need to log in at Online Scout Manager.
We as Leaders encourage proactive and self-reliant life skills so we would like Scouts (rather than you) to check what they were doing this week. Scouts will need limited access to Parent Portal so they are able to see the programme (but not be able to sign up / pay for events, etc.).
If you are happy to do so (the Parent Portal environment is fully locked down in accordance with GDPR data security), please add your Scout's email address to the Personal Details -> Member section in the Parent Portal. We can then grant them access to the Programme section of the Parent Portal.
PLEASE DO NOT ADD YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AS THIS WILL RESULT IN YOUR ACCOUNT BEING RESTRICTED TO THAT OF AN UNDER 18 AND YOU WILL LOSE FUNCTIONALITY OF YOUR ADULT ACCOUNT.
