Welcome to 1st Twyford Scouts

1st Twyford Scout Group, based in Twyford, Berkshire, was founded in 1910. From humble beginnings 1st Twyford Scout Group is now made up of around 180 young people and leaders, becoming a well known and respected organisation within the village.

Children and adult members find themselves participating in a wide array of activities where fun and team building are core.

The Group

1st Twyford Scout Group consists of three sections;

These groups, covering ages 6 to 15 years old, can be joined by boys and girls. You can find out more about each of these groups by clicking on the links above or by clicking on their logos in the side bar.

For ages 15 to 18 there is a local Explorer Scouts group. You can find out more about this group, including when and where they meet, by visiting their website

Where Can You Find Us?

1st Twyford Scout Group is based in the impressive and purpose built HQ on Loddon Hall Road. See our how to find us page for a map and address. 

The HQ was officially opened in April 2007, an event that marked the end of Phase 1 of Project Phoenix.
