A report by Kenneth Simpson
This week the scouts went on a scavenger hunt with a twist.
The scouts were given a piece of paper with photos of things around Henley town
centre, the pictures were rather obscure such as door knockers and small photos
taken at odd angles. They were in teams of about four and they had to find
where each photo was taken. Once they had found them they had to record where
they found it. The scouts had to find all the pictures in under an hour and
meet up at the starting point. To make sure no one was late, a point was
deducted for every minute they were, so time keeping was essential. Every team
made it back on time but no-one managed to find every picture. Overall we all
enjoyed the evening and I think we all would want to do something like that
again. |
