A big well done to the scouts who took part in this year's Loddon District 5 a side football competition - winning their league and then going on to win a very close final in extra time against 1st Wargrave. This has been a particularly successful year for the troop in the district competition (The Murray Plate) with more than 40 different scouts taking part in 5 events throughout the year. The troop has scored consistently well throughout the competitions with a 3rd place in the raft race, 1st place in the Breakfast Chase, 4th place in the Ten Pin Bowling, 3rd place in the Cooking Competition and now another 1st place in the 5 a side football. This means that for the 2014/15 event Twyford has re-claimed the Murray Plate for the first time since 2006/07.
