Our Beavers went Climbing!

Last term our Beaver Scouts tried a new activity for our colonies.  With instructors and safety equipment provided by the County Climbing Team we ran 3 sessions at the excellent climbing wall at the Queen Anne's School in Caversham.  Working in teams of 4, each Beaver had the opportunity to climb as well as having the responsibility of acting as belay and holding onto the ropes whilst others climbed. The nights were a resounding success and we have already been asked when they can go again!  Many thanks to all the instructors for their expertise in providing 3 great evenings enjoyed by all the Beaver Scouts, leaders & watching parents!
